car stereo wars are locked down in deadwood… Well okay it’s not Deadwood. Its Steiglitz. A Victorian ghost town that experienced a similar gold rush in the 1850’s. The wazzas as they are sometimes known are busy writing and recording material for their 2nd album.
There are still a few surviving buildings in the town but most have no power. Fortunately with a generator or two and the power of mac laptops we have the potential to record to our hearts content. (or our batteries run out…)
Strangely the songs seem to be taking on a country/dixie feel. Please take note of the photo from our last shindig at Steiglitz.
Stay tuned for more tales from the ghost town of Steiglitz. We are making a little documentary as we go. It will find its way to the website soon.

car stereo wars has been selected for American Airlines In-Flight Entertainment program, expected to reach an audience of 500,000 people over a three-month period (January through March of 2010) The program will be available to first and business class passengers, approximately half of whom are on transcontinental flights, either originating or ending in the U.S. entertainment capitals of New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. These routes are heavily traveled by entertainment industry figures holding frequent flyer/travel accounts on American Airlines.
